To take care of your skin. As we age (and it starts sooner than we think!) our skin starts to lose its elasticity - its PING! The collagen and elastin fibres begin to break down and become weak, losing their supporting quality. In addition, the skin's ability to maintain its moisture level, or its plumpness, is reduced. After the age of around 25 we apparently lose 4lbs of muscle mass every 10 years, some of this from our faces.

That's the bad news.

There are, however, simple things we can do to improve the texture and appearance of our skin (if we are willing to put in a bit of effort).

Cleansing

Of course, keeping our skin clean is vital. And this means properly CLEANSED - not just given a quick wipe with a multi-purpose cloth!

Exfoliation, Exfoliation, Exfoliation

Is the key to a brighter, smoother, fresher looking skin. Removing the dull, lifeless, dead skin cells on the surface will make way for a new cleaner and clearer looking complexion. This will have the added benefit of making the products used thereafter that much more effective as they are applied to new skin rather than being wasted on the dead stuff!

Moisturising

Whilst, unfortunately, it cannot have surgical effects on your skin, moisturising will help to guard against excessive moisture loss, replenish some of what has been lost and protect your skin against free radicals, pollution and UV rays - all BAD! BAD! BAD!

So ... Cleanse, Exfoliate, Moisturise

A brighter, plumper, smoother complexion is as simple as that!
